Project Mile: Week 2

My 2 and 1/2 week mile training plan enters the all important week 2.  Today I wanted to add a little distance back into my running and I accomplished that with a 6.5 mile run.  It felt about 3 times as long as that and super hot - even though it was 72 degrees out.  So, can't say i'm happy with how I responded.  My shoes felt ok - no pain while running, but my ankle hurt like a mother fucker walking to the T-stop from work.  I also managed to bike to and from Alewife.  So some good working out numbers today.  Tomorrow - another swim.  Speed work later in the week.
